Terms for using Start This Task

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Start This Task, a product by CNVX Studio. By accessing or using Start This Task, you agree to these Terms.
Start This Task helps you break stuck, vague, or overwhelming work into smaller next steps. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Start This Task may offer a free plan and a paid monthly subscription called Founding Pro. Prices, billing period, and included features will be shown before checkout.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless canceled before renewal. Payment processing, receipts, invoices, and subscription management are handled by a third-party payment provider.
You can cancel future renewals from the billing area or customer portal after a paid subscription is active. If you cannot access the billing area, contact support at support@startthistask.com. Cancellation stops future renewals, but it does not automatically refund previous charges. Access may continue until the end of the current paid period unless the billing provider or product UI states otherwise.
If something went wrong with payment or access, contact us at support@startthistask.com. Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We do not promise an automatic refund or a fixed money-back guarantee unless it is clearly stated at checkout or required by applicable law.
Automated, shared-account, or abusive usage may be rate-limited to protect service reliability.
Start This Task, its interface, content, features, and functionality are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain rights to content you enter into Start This Task. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
Do not enter sensitive information that you do not have the right to use or share. Start This Task is a productivity tool, not a medical, legal, financial, emergency, or mental health service.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, or use the service in a harmful or abusive way.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Start This Task.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page.
